The mission of Varna Medical University Press is to respond to the need for quality and current works necessary for the training of high-quality medical and management professionals in the healthcare and social fields; to support the educational and research activities by implementing modern publishing technologies and practices.
When following its mission, Varna Medical University Press does the following:
- provides what is needed for the educational process by printing up-to-date textbooks, handbooks, reference books, and other information materials in Bulgarian and in English;
- supports the research activities by publishing scientific and habilitation works, as well as the scientific journals Scripta Scientifica Medica, Scripta Scientifica Medicinae Dentalis, Scripta Scientifica Pharmaceutica, Scripta Scientifica Salutis Publicae, Scripta Scientifica Vox Studentium, Varna Medical Forum;
- provides the materials necessary for educational and admission processes, research purposes, advertising, and anything related to the overall organizational activity of the University;
- provides thorough information and facilitates the users by creating and supporting info website, online bookstore, online platform for scientific journals and online conference platform.
