All researchers from the Medical University of Varna who would like to receive a registration in the antiplagiarism system iThenticate, for which the University has a subscription, can send a request to the following e-mail: press@mu-varna.bg. This way they will be able to check the plagiarism percentage before submitting for publishing thus they can do the needed revisions in accordance with the ethical principles of publishing.
The introduced by the Publishing Department antiplagiarism system is an additional guarantee for the observation of ethical principles when publishing scientific research. The system allows an antiplagiarism check for each newly submitted manuscript. The iThenticate software is used. It is the one chosen by over 80% of the scientific journals with an impact factor. The easy-to-use interface gives the opportunity to receive the needed results within minutes. iThenticate helps editors, authors and reviewers prevent violations through a comparison of the similarity of the manuscripts by a check against a database consisting of over 56 billion websites including 44 million works from 590 publishing houses included in CrossRef.
