There are less than two months till the deadline for submitting proposals to be included in the annual publishing plan for 2015 of the Publishing Department of the Medical University of Varna.
November 15th is thedeadline and by this date the departments must submit their publishing proposals for textbooks, handbooks, monographs, etc.
The submission is done after the downloading and filling out of this form from the press website and the filled-out PDF file is sent through the documents management system of the university, directed to Publishing Department.
We are awaiting your proposals.
From Publishing Rules, MU-Varna
Art. 9. (1) Each year by November 15th, the departments, through their faculty councils, submit to the Publishing Department their proposals for publishing textbooks and handbooks for the following year, which are considered by the Publishing Council.
(2) The proposals are done in compliance with the needs of the academic literature and the readiness of the manuscript and take into consideration:
1. the established curriculum;
2. the established academic programmes;
3. the printed and available academic literature in the specific field;
4. the number of student studying the specific discipline.
(3) No later than November 25th does the Publishing Council discuss the deposited proposals, remove the discrepancies in them and decide on the volume and number of copies. Apart from textbooks and handbooks the Publishing Council discusses also other submitted proposals for publishing and prepares a draft of the annual publishing plan.

(5) The prepared draft of the annual publishing plan is submitted to be considered and approved by the Academic Council.
