Globally, a number of publishers are already working towards the promotion of\u00a0this type of book illustrations in various fields, especially in medical literature.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What is \u201cAugmented Reality\u201d and\u00a0What is Its Application in Medical Literature?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Augmented reality, is a three-dimensional system, complementing the actual book with virtual objects that appear in the form of computer-generated graphics into the same space with objects in the real world through a different type of technology. The visualization that it offers, is expected to dramatically improve the current educational practices.<\/p>\n<p>Computer generated graphics, videos or sounds are nowadays used in textbooks in different fields of higher education, including environmental science, health, ecosystems, biology, chemistry, geography and history. It provides an excellent opportunity for a better visualization for medical students and young professionals who need additional practice and situational experience in clinical treatment.
